RESEARCH, TEACHING, AND SCHOLARSHIP

The Symposim and LeFrak Forum promote teaching and research in political philosophy including:

• providing post-doctoral fellowships for promising young scholars, giving them a crucial opportunity to advance their research — and their job prospects. To date, we have supported ten post-doctoral fellows.

• funding students in our graduate program, where they receive a rigorous training in the philosophical tradition and the enduring principles of individual liberty. Since the founding of the LeFrak Forum and Symposium, enrollments in the graduate program in political philosophy have tripled.

• providing an institutional home and support for the Directors and Senior Reseach Fellows.

All of these parts add up to a larger whole. They bring together a critical mass of serious scholars and students, all synergistically pursuing the same general questions.
